- Start with the upper walkways: Begin your visit at the upper circuit, as these elevated platforms offer panoramic views of the glacier’s face.
- Move down to the lower circuits: Continue to the lower and central paths for closer angles of the ice walls and the glacier’s thunderous ruptures. Expect moderate walking, with plenty of steps and gentle slopes.
- Shuttle services: A free shuttle bus connects the main parking area with the entrance to the walkways. It runs every few minutes, making it easy to skip the steep uphill walk.
- Rest spots & facilities: Along the trails, you’ll find benches, shaded viewpoints, and well-placed restrooms.
- Food & refreshments: Near the main entrance, a restaurant and café overlook the glacier, an ideal stop to warm up with a coffee or grab a snack before heading
